Mrs. Curran| Ms. March | Miss Smith |

Welcome to 3rd grade!  I’m Mrs. Curran and am thrilled to be a 3rd grade teacher.  3rd graders can do so much! While I love to read and write in my free time, my favorite subjects to teach are Math and Science.  Those lessons are filled with experiments, games, problem-solving and teamwork. I encourage all my students to participate in classroom discussions and activities and to do their very best every day. I award tickets for hard work and good behavior.  Those tickets can be traded in for prizes and homework passes! You’ll work hard and have lots of fun in 3rd grade!

Miss March is very excited to be teaching third grade at Allen School! Ever since she was little, Miss March knew she wanted to be a teacher (third grade was her favorite year of school)! Writing and math are her favorite subjects, and her favorite Dr. Seuss book is The Lorax.  “Never settle for less than your best” is the Miss March’s class motto.  In her spare time, Miss March loves to go to the beach, travel with friends, read, and paint.  Be prepared to learn a lot and have a good time in Miss March’s class!

Miss Smith is another one of our third grade teachers. She has been working at Allen since 1994. Her favorite color is blue and her favorite book is The Keeping Quilt by Patricia Polaco.  She loves science and her most important class rule is, "be responsible for yourself."  In Miss Smith's class you can look forward to math games, writing stories, and learning about the world around you.  If you earn your name on the smiley face list by the end of the day, you can pick a special sticker or a ticket toward another prize.  You will learn a lot in third grade, but like Miss Smith says, "always do your best!"
