Mrs. Kempf |Mrs. Sharp | Miss Smith | Miss T. Smith|

Mrs. Kempf, formally Miss Thurber, is so excited to move up to third grade. This will be her second year at Allen School and she loves being a gator! In Mrs. Kempf’s class you will learn to set goals for yourself in all subjects. She expects you to work hard to meet those goals and grow into a strong independent student. Mrs. Kempf can’t wait to share her love of reading and her favorite books with her students. Her all time favorite book is…a secret. You’ll have to wait until she reads it to you next year! Math and Writing Workshop are two of her favorite subjects to teach. Mrs. Kempf wants all her students to remember that when you want to get better at something you practice! So, along with the piano, soccer, baseball, and swimming…remember reading, math and writing!!!

Miss Smith is another one of our third grade teachers. She has been working at Allen since 1994. Her favorite color is blue and her favorite book is The Keeping Quilt by Patricia Polaco.  She loves science and her most important class rule is, " you are responsible for you."  In Miss Smith's class you can look forward to a math multiplication challenge games and a field trip to The Franklin Institute.  If you earn a smiley face at the end of the day, then you can pick a special sticker or treat.  You will also learn a lot in the third grade, but like Miss Smith says, "always do your best!"
