• Bamboo, is the world's tallest grass! It has been recorded as growing as high as 130 feet.   It has also been known to grow up to 4 feet in a 24 hr. period!

• Roughly 25% of all medicines  in the US are derived from plants!

• The largest seed in the plant kingdom weighs 60 lbs.  It's the seed from the Coco de mer, or double coconut palm!
