From 1964-1968

Mr. Healy. The fire drill would always be after we finished gym & went into get changed.

3. Who was your favorite teacher?/ Who was the teacher that inspired you the most? Any special memories of this teacher?

My favorite teacher was Mr. Kingsbury. The teacher that inspired me the most was Mr. Wisnewski. He taught me the meaning of learning.

4. What time did you go to school?/ What time did you leave school?

I think I went from 9 A.M. until 3 P.M.

5. Did you eat lunch in school?/ Did you get recess? Any special memories?

Yes. I ate in school and had recess. My fondest memory was hopscotch.

6. Did you get homework? Did you get a lot of homework?

Yes. As I got into higher grades I got more homework.

7. Did you have a different teacher for each subject? Any special memories?

When I got into 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.

8. Did you have gym, music, art, or anything else? Any special memories?

Yes. We had everything plus French.

9.Were there any sports teams for the school?

Not that I remember.

10. Did you enjoy your years at Allen? Any special memories?

Yes, I did. I wish I had them again.

Being in Mrs. McGough's homeroom in 8th grade. She was something else
