Miss Condon
absolutely loves to teach first graders. Her favorite colors are pink and
green and her favorite place to be is on the beach with a good book! She
loves to read to her class and her favorite story is The Quiltmaker's
Gift. Students in her first grade class will learn the importance of
manners and respect inside and outside of the classroom. Miss Condon is
excited to meet her new students and learn together throughout the school

Mrs. King loves to teach first grade. She loves watching children
learn to become strong readers. She loves to play Math games with her kids.
Her favorite author is Kevin Henkes. She loves the Toasted Cheese and Soup
that our cafeteria serves for lunch. Mrs. King would like students new to
Allen to know that they just joined a new family. Everyone at Allen loves
to help kids learn.

Sweeney, formally known as Mrs. Kwiatek, is very excited to teach 1st
grade at Allen. She wants all of her students to love coming to school each
and everyday. Her favorite subjects to teach are reading and writing and her
favorite books are Where the Wild Things Are and Oh, The Places
You’ll Go. Mrs. Sweeney also likes to eat lunch with her students as a
reward and sometimes even participate in gym class. She is big Philadelphia
sports fan and loves Penn State Football. In Mrs. Sweeney's class, students
follow the Take 5 Expectations and earn rewards for demonstrating
responsible and respectful actions. Mrs. Sweeney can’t wait to meet the new
1st grade students.
