Mrs. Johnston has been teaching at M. H Allen School for ten fabulous years.  She is very excited to be in fourth grade where we will learn about oceans, governments, historical events and technology.  Make sure when you come in you say hello to our fish, Blue. Mrs. Johnston has too many favorite books to list, but will be sure to share so many with her students that they will also have a tough time picking a favorite.  Mrs. Johnston’s class will enjoy second grade buddies and trips to the oceans of the world (through our technology, of course.)  When we are not growing as readers during Reader’s Workshop, we are writing about ourselves, persuading others with our ideas and creating a fictional world of fantasy.  Teaching is Mrs. Johnston’s passion.  She will ignite your ideas and make learning your passion too!

 Miss Rienzi is the newest addition to the fourth grade team.  She comes to the Allen School from Marlton.  In her class, you can expect lots of energy!  She loves to motivate her students to do their best by having groups earn points for good behavior!  At the end of the month, the group with the most points earns “Lunch Bunch” with Miss Rienzi and a prize from the treasure chest.  Miss Rienzi’s class also has 1st grade buddies, person of the day, read-a-thons, and class parties!  In 4th grade, expect to learn lots of new and exciting things!  It will be a fun and rewarding year if you work hard and stay organized!  Miss Rienzi is so excited to meet all the new students at Allen.

Mr. Wilt  has been teaching Fourth Grade at Allen School for 5 years.  He teachers electricity and the class completes a lot of fun projects in 4th grade throughout the year.  The class earns tickets for good behavior to cash in for prizes and they have two parties during the year.  One party is on Halloween and the other party is on Valentine’s Day.    Mr. Wilt's favorite book is Jacob’s Rescue which is read in his class during the school year.  Mr. Wilt is a huge Philadelphia sports fan.  Let’s Go Flyers!  EAGLES! and Phillies.  Mr. Wilt is really looking forward to meeting the new 4th grade students!
